FALL 2022
Seven skulls each measuring approximately 7" x 5" x 6" created for a project requiring the creation of seven heads. Each skull utilizes negative space to create a balance throughout all pieces and were sculpted to show emotion and expression to vividly portray each sin: greed, pride, gluttony, envy, wrath, lust, and sloth.
FALL 2023
I created my own typeface of hand formed letters using honey and real ants. I organized the alphabet using photoshop.
SPRING 2022
5" x 6" ceramic vessel glazed at cone 06 with a matte finish. The vessel was created on a pottery wheel and the detail was added by hand. I used both addition and subtraction in the piece to create proportion and unity. The repetition of this piece establishes balance and harmony.
SPRING 2023
3,300 x 3,300 pixels. By using Adobe Illustrator, I created a digital portrait of myself to add to an online "class photo." I mimicked a reference photo of myself and created shadow and depth through the screen.
FALL 2022
16" x 7" x 3.75" ceramic. This project showcases an in-motion object, exaggerated in size. I redesigned the BLICK Art Materials logo, using a visual hierarchy into something more fitting for an art store. Inspired by paint splatters, I created a logo to fit this inspiration. Each piece of this work is detachable, including the paint, having been sculpted with precision to interlock together.
