Gouache Color Harmonies

FALL 2022
8" x 8" gouaches. I created a geometric design three equivalent times with three different color harmonies in order to create different views of the piece. In the first piece, I used a complementary color harmony with very deep purples in order to create a stronger focal point contrasting with the bright yellows. For the middle piece, I used a cool color harmony relying on different greens to create movement. On the final piece, I used a monochromatic color harmony and added tints and shades of blue to create the feel of a pattern.
