For this project we had to create our own movie brief and poster after being given two famous actors and a genre.

Movie Brief:
Pet Sitters: Idris Elba and Marion Cotillard star as two struggling actors who inadvertently become professional pet sitters to make ends meet. Strangers Corrie and Shelby meet in their endeavor to take on a second job, but when they find themselves responsible for a billionaire's exotic zoo of pets, chaos ensues. Mayhem erupts as they juggle with mischievous monkeys, pampered pythons, and a very whiny white tiger. Fueled by absurd scenarios and witty banter, Corrie and Shelby must navigate the challenges of zookeeping while desperately trying to keep their unconventional business under wraps. This hilarious adventure promises a wild and laughter-filled journey through the unpredictable world of pet sitting.
Process:
Mood board + sketches
In the beginning of the process, we randomly got two famous actors and a genre. From that, we had to create a movie brief and a poster design. I started by researching comedy movie posters and making a mood board of the vibe I wanted to go for. I then created three main sketches for what my movie poster could look like that were then critiqued by my professor and my class. I then brought my sketches into Adobe Illustrator and edited it to make a high quality movie poster. I used photos from the internet but had to edit their eyes to look upwards at the monkey, and edited the lighting so that the piece looks cohesive.
